Amateur Choir

Combining the dual skills of orchestra and choral conducting, Jean-Marc Andrieu offers his extensive knowledge to amateur choirs of South West France all year long. He directed for a long while the Departmental Choir of Tarn-et-Garonne for many years and always is a pillar of the annual choral workshop in Monflanquin (Lot-et-Garonne).

Throughout the year, choirs of the region receive training in the performance of early music  and in the development of their project. Jean-Marc Andrieu has lent his skills as choirmaster to the following ensembles :

  • 2015 : Haendel’s Messiah with the EVAB – Evènements vocaux Alix Bourbon (Jean-Yves Garinet), Archipels (Joël Suhubiette), Nota Bene (Delphine Armand)
  • From 2002 to 2014 : Choir of Monflanquin’s choral workshop (Lot-et-Garonne) organised by Les Soirées Baroques de Monflanquin
  • In 2011 : Vocal Ensembles from the Landes, in partnership with the Pôle Culturel du Marsan
  • St.Matthew Passion with the EVAB – Evènements vocaux Alix Bourbon (Jean-Yves Garinet) , les choeurs Arpège (J. Charpentier), Archipels (Joël Suhubiette), Jeune Académie Vocale d’Aquitaine, A Contretemps (Guy Zanesi)
  • In 2010 : Orchestre Régional Bayonne – Côte Basque (Laetitia Casabianca)
  • In 2009 : Collaboration with the Ensemble Vocal d’Alix Bourbon, A Contretemps (Toulouse), Arpège (Bordeaux) and in various choirs (Haute-Garonne).
  • In 2008 : Vocal ensemble Oratorio of Agen (B. Janssens)
  • In 2007 : Girls Choir  Eclats (F. Terrieux)
  • In 2006 : The young singers of Saint-Jean in Lectoure for Les Saisons of Haydn, the Aveyron departemental Choir on a program by Charpentier.
  • In 2005 : Tarn-et-Garonne Choir, on a program dedicated to Ingres and music. 
  • In 2004 : Ensemble Vocal Alix Bourbon, Chœur Départemental de l’Aveyron, Tarn-et-Garonne Choir, Chœur du Stage of Haut-Quercy -Saint-Céré festival, Les Feux de Saint-Jean in Lectoure, Chœur A Contre-Temps of Toulouse, Groupe Vocal Arpège and Orfeo of Bordeaux, Maîtrise de Caen and many other choirs came for the J.S. Bach Christmas Oratorio (12.05.20014) at la Halle aux Grains).
