Jean-Paul Talvard, double bass

Following studies in double bass at Avignon Conservatoire, Jean-Paul Talvard was quick to set his sights on early music the 8-foot violone. 

He regularly performs with ensembles, such as the Concert Spirituel (H.Niquet), La Grande Ecuria and La Chambre du ROy (J-C. Malgoire), Les Arts Florissants (W. Christine), Les Passions (J-M Andrieu), Les Paladins, Ensemble Philidor and II Seminario Musicale (G. Lesne), with whom he has made many recordings.
